Who Let the Dogs Out!

A word of warning...you may not like what you are about to see!

Today we discovered something awful....our wether lambs are being attacked by dogs!

We are not sure if someone owns the dogs or the dogs have no owners.

But we are not very happy about what they are doing.

The dogs are injuring the sheep and then leaving them to die.
It is very cruel.

Our farm dogs are always put back in their kennels when they are not being used.
If dogs are let roam around on farms they can get themselves into ALL sorts of trouble.
The dogs that have done this better watch out....

We spend alot of time and effort caring for our animals....
we definitely do not want this happening again.

Dad is moving the sheep to another paddock where we hope they will be safer.

  1. Hope you find them and very soon... I hate this kind of thing, people should keep their dogs at home where they belong...If I found them they wouldn't be going home!!!

  3. Hi KT,

The 1/2 Rosellas and the 1/2 Emus from Heckenberg Public School (South West Sydney) really enjoyed reading your blog this morning. We have been making text to text connections between the book, 'A Year on our Farm' By Penny Matthews and Andrew McLean and your blog!
We were really sad to see that the sheep were being killed by the dogs.
We will be reading more about farm life, and we would love to hear more about your life on the farm, it is very different to living in Heckenberg!
    Thanks for sharing!
    From,
The children in the Rosellas, the children in the Emus, Miss Davey and Miss Riley

  4. Hello Heckenberg.....lovely to hear from you. I am glad you are enjoying my blog, I have had alot of fun over the last two years putting it together with lots of help from my Mum. Have you read lots of my blog it started when I was four and I am now in Year One. " A Year on our Farm" was one of my favourite books when I was younger. I now read it to my baby sister Erin. If you have any questions about our farm or farming in general please feel free to ask. I would love to help you learn all about life on the farm. From KT
